SYNOPSIS
Aki Ogasawara (TAKERU SATOH) is a
25-year-old music producer for the famous band Crude Play yet he
loves being under the radar. Riko Koeda (SAKURAKO OHARA) is a
16-year-old high school student with a beautiful voice and her band
frequents street performing. One day, Aki is feeling melacholic by
the bridege and he threw away his latest song when Riko found it. She
read the music and instantly fell in love with the lyrics not
noticing is Aki watching her. This is where their fate meets.
REVIEW
This movie is based on a manga with
same title, however I never read it but I love the movie. Takeru
Satoh is just extraordinary. He brings life to any character that he
portrays and I just appreciate him more. I love romance, music and
movies and “The Liar and His Lover” has both. Highly recommended!
